Sindhu Kiran is a multifaceted talent in the field of Indian classical dance. She is an exponent of Mohiniyattam forms of dance, an accomplished Veena player, painter and a serious practitioner of Yoga and Kalaripayattu. Sindhu specialised in “Abhinaya” the soul of performance trained under Guru Smt Kalanidhi Narayan.
Sindhu's thirst for dance led her to the greatest guru of Mohiniyattam and she trained under Guru Smt Kalamandalam Kalyanakutti Amma who is considered the Mother of this beautiful elegant dance form from Kerala and then under Guru Smitha Rajan and Guru Smt Bharthi Shivaji.

Awarded with the National Scholarship for Young Artists by Government of India in 1994 for Classical Dance.
Accompanied Guru Bharati Shivaji to Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand with a diplomatic delegation of the Vice President of India.
Served as a Guru in Center for Mohiniyattam - Guru Bharati Shivaji’s Institution for Mohiniyattam at Kozhikkode, Kerala
Served as a Guru in ARTI - the contemporary dance company of Ms Daksha Seth and performed with her in various noted festivals.
Performed Indian classical dance throughout India, along with late Protima Gauri Bedi in prestigious festivals like Mahamaya festival, Vasantha Habba, Alliance Franchise, Karnataka festival, Karavali festival, Eka-aneka festival, Hyderabad festival, British Council, Narada Gana Sabha, Bharat Kalachar, Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, Taj festival, Rose festival, Dodde Mahotsava, Habitat Center, Natyanjali festival..etc
Performed Indian classical dance for Indian Mela in Japan organized by Vikas swarup the then council general of Indian embassy and the author of best seller book Question and Answers (which became popular as a cinema – Slumdog millioner ) in Osaka-Japan in 2010
Performed Oddissi at Indonesia, Cambodia and Thailand, representing India with diplomatic delegation of the Vice president of India.

Served as a Guru in the J Krishna Murthi’ s– the valley school- in Bangalore from 1999-2000. Taught Classical, Folk and Creative Dance
